• Established accounts, Educational Institutions, Fortune 500 Companies- Net 30
• All others- Prepayment required or COD with certified check
• All orders outside the Unities States require 100% payment prior to shipment
• 50 deposits are required on all orders over $20,000.00 USD

Shipping:

• All prices are FOB Hillsborough, NJ. Packing and shipping expenses are prepay-and-add (PPA), which also includes duties, custom fees, taxes or other applicable fees required to deliver the goods.
• In (FOB) Freight on Board origin (Hillsborough), title transfers at the time and place of shipment. FOB Hillsborough means responsibility of the seller stops when the “goods” are delivered to the transporting company from our warehouse.
• You may also select and schedule your own carrier at your own cost.
• Packing and Shipping costs vary. Unless otherwise arranged, all items will be shipped via an insured ground common carrier.

• New Equipment: 1 year parts and labor, less consumables.
• Refurbished Equipment: 6 months parts and labor, less consumables.
• Our equipment is fully refurbished and tested to assure your satisfaction. If within thirty (30) days the equipment does not perform to specification, you can return the item for a 100% refund.
• An additional parts and labor warranty may be given on specific items. This will be stated on your quotation.
• Warranty applies to equipment sold as new or refurbished only. Equipment sold in an “as is” condition carries no warranty.
• Warranty is void in the event of abuse, improper maintenance, improper instillation or alterations or damage caused by improper environmental conditions and services.
• Scientific Surplus makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including without limitation, and warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Scientific surplus is not libel for loss of time or materials. The purchaser’s sole responsibility is limited to the stated return policy.
• Warranty is not transferable to a third party.

Returns:

• If for any reason you would like to return refurbished equipment within thirty (30) days, you may do so but will incur a 20% restocking fee on standard equipment. Equipment customized for the customer will incur a 45% restocking fee.
• All returns must be accompanied by a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Contact Scientific Surplus to obtain an RMA.
• Items must be returned in the original packing materials and contain all included accessories.
• All returns must be shipped prepaid and fully insured.

Refurbishing Your Online Instrument Purchase:

With all the online auctions going on today, many of our customers take advantage of the cost savings they receive by buying used equipment. However; in many cases, these items need to be refurbished, repaired, calibrated and fully tested before you place them into active labs. Scientific Surplus is proud to offer our customers this service to help assure your newly purchased equipment performs to your expectations.

Training:

Scientific Surplus offers our customers training at our facility at no charge for customers who purchase our equipment. Scientific Surplus also offers onsite training for an additional cost for those customers who may have several employees and travel may not be an option.
